Joe Jones

Joe Jones is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and commercial transactions across various industries, including telecom, aerospace, and energy. Currently serving as a Senior Professional in the Legal Department at NEC Corporation since March 2023, Joe advises on M&A, strategic investments, and telecom infrastructure projects. Joe has held notable positions such as Senior IP Counsel, Attorney at Law at the Law Office of D. J. Jones PLLC, and Assistant General Counsel at Enviva, where contracts for significant biomass power plant projects in Japan were negotiated. Joe's previous roles in corporate law at Squire Patton Boggs involved advising on major M&A transactions, including significant acquisitions by Japanese corporations.
