Stuart Day

Stuart Day is an experienced design authority and product support/pre-sales engineer with over two decades of expertise in optical networks. Currently at NEC EMEA since April 2002, Stuart specializes in the design of passive, CWDM, DWDM, and OTN networks. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior European Network Design Engineer at 360networks, where Stuart led an optical design team and contributed to the design of a pan-European DWDM network. Earlier roles include provisioning and designing circuits at GTS Energis and regional optical transmission networks at Telkom. Stuart holds a Diploma in Datametrics from the University of South Africa and a Higher Diploma in Electronics from Technikon Natal, along with foundational studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
