Adrian James

Adrian James is an advisor at Necessary Ventures. Adrian was previously with Omada Health and IDEO. At IDEO, they helped lead the Medical Products group in Palo Alto, focusing on internal content expertise, business development, project team formation, and client relationships with companies ranging from medical startups to established pharmaceutical manufacturers. Prior to that, Adrian worked as a mechanical engineer at Plantas Eolicas, designing hydraulic pitch actuators and testing and repairing wind turbines. Adrian also worked as a mechanical engineer at Edge Innovations, designing and assembling internal mechanical structures for animatronic swordfish for the movie "The Perfect Storm".

Adrian James completed their BSME at Stanford University in the field of Mechanical Engineering. They then went on to complete their MSME at Stanford University in the Design Division of Mechanical Engineering.
