Shannon Smit

Shannon Smit is a seasoned professional in sustainability and business development, currently serving as Team Lead Sustainability and New Business Program Designer at Nedap since December 2021. Prior experience includes roles at Nedap Retail as Graduate Intern Sustainability and Business Developer Food Waste, along with leadership as Voorzitter for Study Tour Briscon. Shannon has also supported educational environments as a Personal Assistant to a Teacher at Pre-U / University of Twente and as an Assistant Teacher at ISW Hoogeland. Earlier career experience includes a position as Meeloopbegeleider at Universiteit Twente and as a Residential Group Assistant at Vivium Zorggroep. Shannon holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the University of Twente, complemented by studies at Delft University of Technology and SG Huizermaat.
