Xander Straat

Xander Straat is a versatile theatre professional with extensive experience in stage direction, presentation coaching, and leadership roles within various organizations. Since November 2021, Xander has served as the co-artistic leader of DOOR Foundation and DOOR Open Space, as well as the co-director of The Circle of Truth. Concurrently, Xander has been involved with What Design Can Do as a stage director and pitch/presentation coach since May 2017, and has been coaching theatre presentation skills at Nedap since May 2012. Notable past positions include stage director for various operas at Nederlandse Reisopera, including works such as "Così fan tutte" and "Candide," as well as directing TEDxAmsterdam 2014. Xander holds a Bachelor of Theatre Arts from Toneelschool Arnhem and attended Delft University of Technology.
