Andre Venter

Andre Venter is a seasoned risk management executive with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as the Executive Head of Risk for Rest of Africa Subsidiaries at Nedbank since August 2012. In this role, Andre oversees Credit and Market Risk across African subsidiaries and alliances, having previously held positions including Executive Head of Credit and Market Risk Management and Head of Credit Management for Nedbank Africa. Andre's earlier career at Nedbank, from May 2003 to December 2011, included roles such as Chief Risk Officer for Nedbank Namibia, where responsibilities encompassed establishing the risk framework and managing diverse risk categories. Education credentials include a Transition to General Management degree focused on Organizational Leadership from INSEAD in 2023, as well as a B.Comm in Managerial Accountancy from Stellenbosch University completed in 1992.
