Jingyu Liu

Jingyu Liu is currently the Head of Engineering for Hero App at Need since August 2020. Prior to this role, Jingyu worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook from 2016 to 2020 where they were involved in building various innovative products including Rooms for video calls, Page Stories, Event Stories, Group stories, and personalized education tools for K-12 schools. They also have experience as a Research Assistant at UCLA Health and as a Founding Engineer at GoGuardian. With a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a Master's Degree in both Computer Science and Statistics from UCLA, Jingyu Liu has a strong background in software development and product management.
