Robert Olson is a Radiation Oncologist, researcher, and health systems leader based in Northern BC. Currently serving as Professor and Division Head of Radiation Oncology at UBC and Executive Medical Director at BC Cancer – Prince George, they focus on improving access to evidence-based care in rural and underserved regions. Olson has been the Principal Investigator for multiple international SABR trials and is passionate about collaborative leadership, clinical innovation, and patient-centered care. With a Master's degree in Epidemiology from Harvard and an MD from the University of Calgary, they also advocate for physician wellness and equity in cancer care while balancing family life as a parent of four and enjoying marathon running.
