Ryan Woodbury is the co-founder and co-CEO of Needed, a perinatal nutrition brand founded in 2017 to close the gap in perinatal nutrition and set a science-backed health standard for women, their families, and the earth; Needed is a Certified B-Corp, 1% for the Planet member, and Climate Neutral-Certified. They previously worked in finance and venture capital, including as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs (2011-2013) and as an Associate at Velos Partners (2013-2014), and served as Director of Finance at Surf Air (2014-2015). They earned an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business (2015-2017) and a BS in Earth Systems from Stanford University (2011), and they were a Mayfield Fellow at the Stanford Technology Ventures Program in 2010. They currently hold board roles with the Council for Responsible Nutrition (2025 - Present) and Clean Label Project Baby Coalition (2024 - Present).
