Michael Barron

Michael Barron is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at NeedleSmart since November 2021, Barron also holds the position of Partner at Vinland Ventures, which provides strategic advisory services to startups and established companies. Prior roles include Senior Director at BNY Mellon, where Barron developed teams to enhance Wealth Management services, and Director & Portfolio Manager at ICC Capital Management, focusing on institutional product offerings. As CEO of Knott Capital Management Inc., Barron successfully defined the company’s vision and operational strategy. Barron's career began at Invesco Ltd. as Managing Director, following a solid educational foundation with a BS in Business Administration and Management from Villanova University and further studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
