Jonathan Hera

Jonathan Hera is the Founder and Managing Partner of Marigold Capital, a leading impact investment firm in Canada, established in January 2017, focusing on gender and inclusivity for systemic change. In addition to managing Marigold, Jonathan serves as an Investor and Advisor for several organizations, including Indiegraf Media, The Discourse, NeedsList, and Goodee. Jonathan also holds roles as an Investor and Board Observer at Ulula and is a Member of the Investment Committee for the London Social Value Fund. As a Board Director for LegWorks, Inc., Jonathan contributes to the development of innovative knee joint technology, and as a Board Director for the Youth Social Innovation Capital Fund, Jonathan supports young entrepreneurs tackling global challenges. Jonathan’s academic background includes an IMBA in Strategy and Finance from the Schulich School of Business, along with certificates in Nonprofit Management and a BA in Political Science from McGill University. Jonathan also taught courses on Social Purpose Investing and Finance at the Schulich School of Business from 2010 to 2022.
