Ed Everitt, P.E. has over 18 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry. Ed is currently serving as the Vice President, Secretary & General Counsel at Neel-Schaffer, Inc., where they are responsible for the firm's legal, risk management, and safety affairs. Ed focuses on risk avoidance through consultation and evaluation of engineering and construction issues throughout a project's life cycle. In addition, they are a Trustee at ACEC Business Insurance Trust and has previously held roles such as Associate General Counsel and Managing Attorney at CB&I and Corporate Counsel at The Shaw Group. Ed started their career as a Civil Engineer at Waggoner Engineering and also worked as an Attorney at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP.

Ed Everitt, P.E. pursued their education starting from 1997 to 2001, at Mississippi State University, where they attained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering. Ed later continued their academic journey from 2003 to 2006 at the University of Mississippi School of Law, where they received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a focus on Law.
