Dirk Paessler

Dirk Paessler is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader in the field of carbon management and technology. Currently, Dirk serves as the Founder and CEO of Carbon Drawdown Initiative GmbH and holds the position of Vice President at the Negative Emissions Platform, an organization dedicated to promoting carbon removal technologies to meet climate goals. Prior to these roles, Dirk was the Chairman of the Board, Founder, and CEO of Paessler AG from 1997 until May 2024, and contributed as a member of the Advisory Board at carbonfuture and as Beirats-Vorsitzender at Ascora GmbH until mid-2023. Dirk's career began in business development at Atrada Trading Network AG from 1998 to 2001. Dirk holds an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
