Randy Hiser

Randy Hiser, M.S. has a diverse range of work experience. Randy is currently working as a Cloud Engineer at Neighborly® since 2023. Previously, from 2017 to 2023, they worked at Finvi as a Software Engineer (DevOps) and Senior Consultant - SaaS Operations. During their time at Finvi, they played a crucial role in implementing agile software development practices, developing scalable solutions using various tools and languages, and delivering high-quality software releases. Randy also gained experience in DevOps, microservice architectures, test automation frameworks, and containerization with Kubernetes and Docker.

Prior to their role at Finvi, Randy served as a Graduate Student Assistant at Ball State University from 2016 to 2017. Randy also worked at Jay Demaree Construction as a Web Design Assistant and Construction Worker from 2012 to 2017, where they contributed to web design and construction projects. Additionally, they worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Ball State University in 2015 and as a Stocker at Marsh Supermarkets from 2013 to 2015.

Randy Hiser, M.S. received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from Ball State University in 2016. Randy went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Information and Communication Sciences (CICS) from the same university, completing the program in 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Randy has also obtained certifications to further enhance their skill set. Randy obtained the "CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer" certification from The Linux Foundation in May 2022. Prior to that, they completed the "Improving Your Listening Skills" certification from LinkedIn in February 2021.
