Dan Fields

Dan Fields is a Senior Manuscript Editor at the New England Journal of Medicine, where they have worked for over a decade, editing research and review articles for the oldest continuously published medical journal. Prior to this role, Dan served as the Executive Editor for Dr. Andrew Weil's Self Healing newsletter and held various editorial positions at The Futurist magazine and New Age Journal/Body+Soul magazine. They have also been self-employed as a health writer and editor, collaborating with prestigious clients such as Johns Hopkins Medicine International. Dan is currently an advisory board member at My Life My Choice, contributing to efforts aimed at ending the commercial sexual exploitation of children, and has volunteered with Samaritans Inc. to support survivors of suicide loss. Dan earned a BA in Creative Writing from Oberlin College.
