Jon Guldsten

Jon Guldsten has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jon currently serves as the Project Development Director at Nel Hydrogen, starting from May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Technical Sales Director at Nel Hydrogen from April 2020 to May 2023.

Before joining Nel Hydrogen, Guldsten was associated with TechnipFMC, where they held various roles. Jon worked as the Manager Tender and Work Packages, Controls & Automation from February 2018 to April 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Global Tender Manager - Connection Systems from September 2016 to February 2018.

Guldsten also gained valuable experience at FMC Technologies, where they held several positions. Jon worked as the Customer Interface Team Manager - Connection Systems from September 2015 to September 2016. Before this, they served as a System Engineer, where they were involved in test leadership for qualification tests and provided support for development and execution of projects globally. Jon also worked as a Product Responsible Engineer and Product Engineer, which involved responsibilities such as development, qualification, standardization, and customer support for various product portfolios.

Guldsten began their career at Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace as an Apprentice Machine Operator from August 1999 to December 2003.

Jon Guldsten completed their education in a variety of fields. Jon started in 1999 and finished in 2003 at Tinius Olsen Skole, where they earned an Upper Secondary School degree in Science, Technical and Mechanical Subjects. In 2003, they completed a Certificate of Completed Apprenticeship as a CNC Machine Operator from the same institution. Jon then went on to pursue their Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2005 to 2010. In 2008 and 2009, Jon participated in an Erasmus exchange program at the University of Glasgow, studying Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering as part of their Master of Science degree. In 2014, they attended executive courses at BI Norwegian Business School, though the specific degree earned is not mentioned.
