Fernando Matara is a highly motivated and results-oriented professional with extensive experience in group underwriting. They began their career as a Group Underwriter at CIGNA and progressed to roles such as Senior Underwriter at Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company and Strategic Broker Relationships Underwriting Leader at Reliance Standard. Fernando has also held positions as a Senior Underwriting Consultant at MetLife and currently serves as Lead Underwriter at Voya Financial and Senior Account Manager & Underwriter at Nelligan. They hold an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Temple University.
