Bob Spencer

Bob Spencer is currently the Chief Actuary at Nelnet, where they work on various QBE acquisitions to ensure consistent actuarial methods are implemented. Bob previously served as SVP of Actuarial at BMS Group and VP Actuarial at JLT Re, where they developed pricing and modeling tools as well as participated in reinsurance efforts. From 2011 to 2018, Bob held the position of Associate in Actuarial Research & Analytics at QBE the Americas, leading numerous initiatives and managing a team. Earlier in their career, Bob worked as an Assistant Actuary at Milliman and as an Actuarial Consultant at Marsh, gaining extensive experience in risk transfer and pricing.
