Paul Staples

Paul Staples is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cyber security and infrastructure engineering. Currently serving as a Penetration Tester and Cyber Security Engineer at Nelnet since December 2017, Paul has previously held roles as an IT Infrastructure Engineer and System Administrator at both Nelnet Diversified Solutions and the City of Englewood. Earlier positions include Senior Support Consultant at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., IT Manager/Systems Administrator at Woodbrook Underwriting, and Senior Server Engineer at Electronic Data Systems, where Paul contributed to various government IT infrastructure projects. Paul also owned and operated Staples Systems Ltd., providing IT consultancy and support across diverse industries. Paul’s career began as a Senior Systems Engineer at Elcom Group/SCC, following education at Shenfield Technical School.
