Peter Timmerman

Peter Timmerman has extensive experience in finance, debt management, and organizational development across various roles and industries. Currently serving as a Finance and Debt Management Advisor at Nelnet since October 2017, Peter has previously held positions such as Managing Director at JMT Realty, where responsibilities included managing commercial real estate and tenant negotiations. At Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha, Peter led a team focused on talent management initiatives, while prior roles at Mutual of Omaha and Kenexa involved consulting on learning and development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Peter holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, along with two master's degrees in related fields.
