Brie Becker

Brie Becker is a civil engineer and transportation planner who has dedicated their career to making cities more livable for everyone. Brie is currently the Principal and Portland Office Leader at Nelson\Nygaard, one of the nation’s leading planning and engineering firms specializing in transportation. Brie previously worked as the Operations & Finance Manager at Alta Planning + Design and as a Project Manager at Community Planning Workshop. Prior to that, they were the Operations Coordinator at Proteus Design. Throughout their career, Brie has been a champion for equity and inclusion in transportation planning and engineering, working to ensure that everyone has access to safe and reliable transportation options.

Brie Becker has a Masters in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon and a BA in American Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
