Chris offers nearly 30 years of experience within the field of travel demand modeling and forecasting. He has developed and applied travel models at the site, project, corridor, and system levels. Chris also brings recent experience working with next-generation tools such as activity-based model frameworks and corridor dynamic traffic assignment models.
Beyond travel modeling, Chris has extensive experience designing and deploying household travel behavior surveys, integrating land use and transportation models, and developing model-adjacent tools designed to help inform policy questions around equity, climate, and freight commodity movements.
Chris has spent most his career working in the public sector. During that time, he has managed the modeling teams for both the Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR, MPOs. This experience gives Chris an intimate understanding of the unique needs that face clients in the delivery of their modeling products, tools, and work programs.
