Jo Abbott, RDI, is a seasoned design professional currently serving as the Director and Design Leader at NELSON Worldwide, focusing on innovative design strategies and cross-functional leadership. With a diverse background that includes co-founding Kat & Karo Design Studio and extensive experience in luxury retail and residential design, Jo has worked on notable projects for brands such as T-Mobile, Meta, and Kate Spade & Co. Jo has also held significant roles at firms including RPG and TPG Architecture, driving standards of excellence in retail design. In addition, Jo is actively engaged with the Retail Design Institute as Vice President and Sustainability Committee Lead, championing sustainable practices within the design community. Jo continues to enhance their expertise through ongoing education in Computer Aided Design, Brand Management, and Interior Design.
