Nelu Diversified Solutions (“Nelu”) is an independent employee benefits firm providing benefits strategy consulting, compliance advisory, and practitioner-led training to employers, trustees, plan sponsors, and legal departments. With offices in the United States and the United Kingdom, Nelu has earned recognition from global plan sponsors, news outlets, and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business for its innovative approach.

Nelu was founded by Uche Enemchukwu, JD, LLM, a benefits attorney and strategy consultant, to address recurring challenges related to employee benefits access, cost, and complexity. Building on that foundation, Nelu has expanded to provide senior-level benefits governance, compliance, and strategy expertise without the expectation—or inefficiency—of maintaining that capability in-house. Our work supports organizations navigating complex regulatory requirements and design decisions across health and retirement benefits, with a focus on enabling meaningful access across participant populations.

At the core of this work is Nelu’s benefits compliance advisory practice. Through this offering, Nelu provides ongoing advisory support with concierge access, including guidance on domestic and global contracts, plan documentation and amendments, regulatory interpretation, and day-to-day benefits decision-making. The work is structured to provide continuity, institutional insight, and practical judgment, helping ensure that benefits programs operate as intended and are accessible in real life.

This continuity also informs Nelu’s strategy consulting and training work. Nelu advises on benefits strategy where integrated, cross-disciplinary judgment is required and delivers live training grounded in real-world practice.
