Liam Berryman

Liam Berryman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Liam started their professional journey in 2014 at UC Berkeley, where they worked as a researcher and later manager at the Design for Nanomanufacturing Lab. In 2015, they became a Board Member in the Younger Chemists Committee and American Chemical Society, contributing their expertise in entrepreneurship and overall governance. In 2016, Liam co-founded Nelumbo, Inc and took on the role of Chief Executive Officer, driving the company's growth and success. Simultaneously, they became a Thiel Fellow at The Thiel Foundation in 2018, further expanding their network and knowledge. In 2020, Liam became a Member of YPO, an organization aimed at fostering business leadership and growth. Overall, Liam Berryman has exhibited a strong commitment to entrepreneurship, research, and leadership throughout their career.

Liam Berryman's education history includes attending the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Liam also completed coursework at Stanford University during the summer. Prior to their college education, Liam attended Rock Canyon High School. In addition to their formal education, Liam obtained an Advanced Open Water Diver certification from PADI in August 2022.
