Michael Danielsen

Michael Danielsen is the Head of IT Development at Nemlig.com. Michael has held this position since October 2019. Prior to that, they were the Head of IT Development at EG Hairtools from January 2017 to September 2019.

At Nemlig.com, Danielsen is responsible for leading a team of 65 developers, testers, DevOps developers, scrum masters and technical PO in Denmark and Ukraine. Michael has also been instrumental in developing the company's agile development process and IT strategy. In addition, they have built communities of testers, DevOps and Lead developers across borders and is a member of steering communities on larger projects.

At EG Hairtools, Danielsen led a team of up to 30 employees, including development manager, product owner, architects and UX designers and developers in Denmark and Poland. Michael was also responsible for the company's IT strategy, roadmap and execution. Additionally, they established a near-sourcing setup in Poland with 15 developers and served as an agile change agent in EG.

Danielsen is a skilled IT leader with experience in building modern IT departments and implementing new IT systems. Michael is also an expert in agile development processes and design thinking.

Michael Danielsen has a Master's Degree in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and a PhD in Natural Sciences from Roskilde University. Michael also has certifications in Programme Management from APMG International and Certified SAFe 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc.

They work with Katarina Friis Møller - Head of Customer Service, Mikkel Felix Demskov - Head of Category Management Development, and Jeppe Grue - Head of Product & UX. Their manager is Stefan Plenge, Adm. direktør / stifter.
