Chris Cannon

Chris Cannon is the Sr. Director of Physical Security at Nemours, responsible for overseeing the development and administration of the organization's Physical Security Program. Previously, Chris held the position of Director of Public Safety and Communications at Piedmont Healthcare from 2013 to 2020, where they managed multiple security departments across various medical facilities. With a strong background in law enforcement, having served as a Sergeant at the Columbus Police Department from 1991 to 2006, Chris also instructed courses in law enforcement and security at the University of Phoenix from 2005 to 2022. Chris holds a Master's degree in Public Administration with a focus on Justice Administration from Columbus State University.
