Sonali Barwe

Sonali Barwe is a Senior Research Scientist and Co-Director of the Nemours Summer Undergraduate Research Program at Nemours. They have held various roles at Nemours since 2007, including Director of the Cell Science Core and Head of the Cancer Modeling Lab. Sonali also served as a Research Associate Professor at the University of Delaware and holds a position as Research Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. They completed their PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Indian Institute of Science between 1997 and 2000, having previously been a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA Health from 2001 to 2007.
