Since June 2005, Johan has been an Opleider and Ontwikkelaar at Dirksen Opleidingen, focusing on practical training and development for fiber optic technology and networks, alongside a role in the Normcommissie NEC 86 'Fibre Optics Communication' at NEN since December 2020. Johan holds a degree in Electronics from Crabeth College MTS, obtained from 1985 to 1988.
