Jos Aarts

Jos Aarts, PhD, MSc, is currently affiliated with the Utrecht University Descartes Centre for the History and Philosophy of Science and the Humanities, where they are engaged in three history projects related to early medical computing, electronic patient records, and postwar history at Utrecht University. Since 2012, Jos has served as a Senior Editor at Health Policy and Technology and has held various roles including SGOA Associate (IT-arbiter) since 2010 and Evaluator for Horizon 2020 with the European Commission since 2020. Additionally, they are an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Victoria and a retired A/Professor at Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management, both positions held since 2011 and 2018, respectively. Jos also contributes as a Member of the NEN 7542 Standards Committee for medication data and sits on the editorial board of JAMIA Open.
