Jos Baars

Jos Baars is a sustainability professional specializing in climate change mitigation and adaptation, with extensive experience in consultancy and project management. They served as a junior advisor at Inter Delta Nederland, developing evaluation methods for climate adaptation measures, and completed a research internship in Bolivia focused on ancient water management systems. Currently, Jos manages sustainability consultancy at Forvis Mazars in the Netherlands and chairs the NEN norm committee on Greenhouse Gas Reporting and Claims. They hold a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University & Research and have furthered their education through programs in corporate social responsibility and civil engineering.
