Stephan Buhler is an experienced machinery safety specialist with a strong background in safety consulting and standard development. Starting as a CE marking consultant at SGS in 2002, Buhler has continuously contributed to the field, serving on the NEN 6787 Safety of Movable Bridges standard committee since 2009. Buhler worked as a Senior Safety Consultant at Pilz Netherlands from 2002 to 2010, advising on machinery safety and related standards. Currently, as a consultant at D&F Consulting since 2010, Buhler provides expertise on machinery safety and safety management, primarily consulting Rijkswaterstaat on the safety of movable bridges and canal locks.
