Teijn Salet, CMSE®, CECE, has extensive experience in machinery safety and industrial automation. As a Safety Consultant at Pilz Nederland from September 2014 to March 2021, Teijn conducted audits and provided practical advice on safety implementation. Teijn also served as Sales Engineer Services, handling customer inquiries and creating service offers. Involvement with NEN includes roles as a specialist on movable bridges and locks for the development of NEN 6787-1 and NEN 6787-2 standards, focusing on control system safety and risk assessment. Previous roles include project assistant and work planner at VolkerRail, trainee positions at NACCO Materials Handling Group and Huisman Elektrotechniek, and owning Salet Computer Service. Currently, Teijn works as a project manager and advisor in industrial automation and machine safety at KienIA Industriële Automatisering. Teijn holds a degree from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen.
