Wei Zhang

Wei Zhang is a skilled researcher with extensive experience in bioinformatics, data analysis, and molecular biology. Currently serving as a Research Associate at Neo7Bioscience, Inc., Wei Zhang focuses on developing data pipeline automation and personalized medicine solutions. Previous positions include Bioinformatics Data Scientist at the Institute of Infectious Disease, HUST, and Scientist at NuProbe, Inc., where projects involved multiplex qPCR assay development. Wei Zhang’s postdoctoral work at UTHealth and UT MD Anderson Cancer Center included bioinformatics analysis of psychiatric disorders and CRISPR-based genomic engineering. Wei Zhang holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree from Wuhan University.
