Samuel Johnson has worked in the marketing and communications field since 2013. Samuel began their career as a Writing Intern at Ologie in 2013. Later that year, they were promoted to Writer at Ologie, where they worked on projects for clients such as Nationwide Insurance, PNC, Food Network, Belk, Indiana University, Ohio University, Port Columbus International Airport, and Creighton University. In 2014, Samuel Johnson became the Brand Marketing & Social Media Coordinator at Warrior Sports for New Balance. In this role, they executed marketing initiatives for New Balance lacrosse brands, produced creative strategy and content across all marketing channels, and managed relationships with key retailers, industry publications, collegiate partners, and sponsored professionals. In 2017, they joined Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation as a Marketing Communications Writer, where they wrote messaging for brand and product marketing initiatives, and corporate communications, and managed a monthly sales and marketing e-newsletter distributed to 300+ internal and external stakeholders. From 2018 to 2022, Samuel Johnson was employed at Waystar, where they held various roles including Content Manager, Sr. Content Strategist, and Content Specialist. In their most recent role as Content Marketing Manager at Neocis, they plan and drafts messaging for marketing initiatives and corporate communications, and manages a corporate newsletter sent to 350k+ clients and prospects.
Samuel Johnson attended Bexley High School from 2006 to 2010, and then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in English and Economics from DePauw University between 2010 and 2014.
