Blake Ballif

Blake Ballif is an experienced professional in the field of genomics and molecular biology, currently serving as the Companion Animal Genomics Product Owner at Neogen Corporation since July 2023. Prior to this role, Blake held several key positions at Paw Print Genetics from August 2012 to July 2023, including Director of Development, Director of Operations, and Laboratory & Scientific Director. Blake's earlier career includes leadership roles at Signature Genomics, PerkinElmer, Inc. as the Director of Research & Development, and at Signature Genomic Laboratories, LLC as Director of Product Development and Research and Senior Scientist. Blake began the professional journey with a postdoctoral fellowship at Washington State University Spokane and an internship in intellectual property at Norton Rose Fulbright. Academic credentials include a PhD in Molecular and Human Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine, an MS in Molecular Biology from Brigham Young University, and a BS in Molecular Biology from the same institution.
