Hyunjun Nam is a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at NeoGenomics Laboratories since September 2019, where responsibilities include developing and maintaining next-generation sequencing (NGS) pipelines in local high-performance computing (HPC) and AWS, as well as establishing copy number variation (CNV) pipelines for hematological and solid cancers. Previously, Hyunjun Nam served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, San Diego, from February 2015 to March 2017, under the advisement of Professors Lilia Iakoucheva and another professor, and also held a similar position at Pohang University of Science and Technology from 2014 to 2015, advised by Professors Sanguk Kim and another professor. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master’s degree in Structural Biology, Network Biology, and Evolution Biology from Pohang University of Science and Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Bioinformatics from Soongsil University.
