Sean Barnes began their career as a Jail Officer at the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department before transferring to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston as a Protection Officer. During the first decade of their professional journey, they led Marines and Sailors on numerous deployments, including combat zones in the Middle East and aboard Navy ships. Notably, Sean earned the title of Recon Marine in 2005 and commanded the 3D Reconnaissance Battalion in Okinawa, Japan, where they played a crucial role in protecting the President during historic Peace Summits. Currently, Sean serves as Inspector General for Marine Forces Central Command while exploring opportunities for a second career.
