Sean Carr is an experienced cytogenetic technologist currently serving as Lead Cytogenetic Technologist at NeoGenomics Laboratories since December 2018. In this role, Sean acts as a technical team leader, workflow coordinator, case reviewer, trainer, and QA specialist in chromosome analysis. Prior to this, Sean worked at Genoptix, Inc. as Principal Cytogenetic Technologist, specializing in hematological analysis and coordinating case workflow. Sean's earlier experience includes positions at UC San Diego and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where Sean utilized tissue culture and slide preparation techniques to analyze various specimens for cytogenetic abnormalities. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Mount St. Joseph University.
