Abdulrahman Althonayan

Abdulrahman Althonayan currently serves as the Director of Maritime Law Enforcement and Director of Mobility at NEOM since October 2023. Previously, Abdulrahman held the position of Deputy - Maritime Transport at the Transport General Authority from April 2021 to October 2023. Prior roles include Planning Manager and Voyage Manager at Bahri from July 2018 to April 2021, Manager of Operations at ARASCO from July 2012 to July 2018, Executive Shipping Representative at SABIC from February 2009 to June 2012, Planning Analyst at Bahri from April 2007 to February 2009, and 3rd Officer at Vela International Marine - Saudi ARAMCO from December 2005 to April 2007. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations Management from King Saud University (2011-2014), a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Marine Science/Merchant Marine Officer from Northumbria University (2004-2005), and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marine Science/Merchant Marine Officer from Solent University (2000-2004).
