Alaa Alakeely

Alaa Alakeely is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in capital accounting and financial reporting. Currently serving as the Capital Accounting Manager at NEOM since November 2022, Alaa oversees capital asset management, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting of assets. Prior experience includes a Lead Financial Reporting & Control role at Halliburton from October 2016 to October 2022, where Alaa specialized in project accounting and financial analysis for various initiatives, notably in the SACN and SAWCOD projects. Alaa also held positions at KBR, Inc. and Aims International Company Limited, focusing on project cost accounting and internal auditing. Alaa's early career involved business development at Mohammed Al-Nahdi Real Estate Group. Alaa holds a Bachelor of Business in Finance from Saginaw Valley State University, complemented by a certification from Al Alamiah Institute for Computer & Technology.
