Anthony Simmons

Anthony Simmons, JD, MBA, MUP, currently serves as the Mobility, Transport Planning, and Operations Manager for TROJENA at NEOM, where responsibilities include managing multimodal transport infrastructure and overseeing consultant evaluations for the 2029 Asian Winter Games. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Simmons Consulting & Advisory and Caltrain, where positions encompassed Major Stations Planning Lead and Director of Systemwide, Stations, and Capital Planning. Anthony has also held significant roles at Aurecon, the Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning, and the City of Gold Coast, focusing on public transport planning and project management. Earlier career highlights include senior positions at AECOM, Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, URS Corporation, and Texas A&M Transportation Institute. Academic credentials feature an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, a J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston, and a Master’s in Urban Planning from Texas A&M University, complemented by a B.S. in Geography from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
