Conor Roche

Conor Roche is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in culture, innovation, and technology. Currently serving as the Director of Culture at NEOM since November 2021, Conor previously held the position of Director, Innovation at BOP Consulting from December 2013 to January 2022, where responsibilities included leading strategic consulting projects and establishing BOP's Asia operations. Notable projects involved assessing AI's impact on the creative industries for the European Commission and conducting feasibility studies for digital copyright initiatives. Earlier career roles include Strategy Consultant at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and Head of Broadcast and Digital at Roundhouse, where Conor built an award-winning broadcast operation and fostered partnerships with major tech companies. Conor's educational background includes a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Bath, CopyrightX from Harvard Law School, an MSc in Music Technology from the University of Limerick, and a BSc in Computer Science and Maths from University College Dublin.
