Georgios Karalis currently serves as the Energy Regulation Manager at NEOM, where responsibilities include designing the future of the energy sector. Previously, Georgios worked at Enel Green Power as the Head of Regulatory Affairs for Emerging Markets in Europe, focusing on regulatory intelligence and strategy development, and as the Head of Regulatory Affairs in Greece, advocating for company policy and analyzing market developments. Additional experience includes roles as a Business Development Specialist and Project Manager for renewable projects in Greece and Romania, as well as board membership at the Hellenic Wind Energy Association. Georgios possesses a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics from the University of Patras, a Master’s Degree in Regulation of Energy Utilities from the European University Institute, and a Master of Science in Automation Systems from the National Technical University of Athens.
