Huyam Abed is a Communication Specialist at NEOM since March 2021, focusing on sector communication, media relations, and strategic communication, including support for activities, key messaging, and thought leadership opportunities. Previously, Huyam served as a Public Policy Intern at the Chico Peace & Justice Center from June 2018 to March 2019, where responsibilities included developing and executing communication strategies. Additionally, Huyam volunteered as a Community Volunteer for the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia in 2010, assisting social work efforts and participating in safety initiatives. Huyam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Affairs from California State University, Chico, earned between 2010 and 2016, and attended American River College from 2008 to 2009.
