Jacques Jaap McIps

Jacques Jaap MCIPS is a seasoned procurement professional currently serving as the Procurement Function Lead for Marketing and Communications at NEOM since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jacques held various leadership positions, including Head of Business Development and Procurement at JV4 Project Management Consultancy from August 2019 to May 2024, and Business Unit Director for Commercial and Procurement at VF ! (Visual Fusion) in Cape Town from July 2018 to July 2019. Jacques has a comprehensive background in procurement and business development, with previous roles at Perspective Plastics, Tiger Brands, GlaxoSmithKline, Brandhouse Beverages, British American Tobacco South Africa, and Alexander Forbes Financial Services. Jacques holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Information Systems from the University of the Western Cape, obtained between 1999 and 2004, and completed Grade 12 at Paul Roos Gymnasium Old Boys Union.
