James Walsh

James Walsh currently serves as Head of Regreening at NEOM since November 2022, leading the Regreening Initiative's planning and implementation of habitat restoration projects. Prior experience includes roles such as Head of Landcare Services at Landcare Australia, overseeing ecological restoration and community engagement projects, and National Program Manager for the 20 Million Trees program. Previous positions include Marine Conservation Program Officer at Scope Global, Sustainability Advisor at Adelaide City Council, and various roles in biodiversity and land management. James Walsh holds multiple degrees in Environmental Management and Project Management from Flinders University and TAFE SA, with ongoing education at the University of Cambridge.
