Jim Kavanagh is currently the Head of Data Centre Technical Sales at NEOM, a position held since October 2022. Prior to this role, Jim served as the VP of Land Acquisition for Data Centers at EDGNEX from April to September 2022, focusing on data center site acquisition in the EMEA region. Between May 2019 and April 2022, Jim worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the DC Site and Capacity Acquisition Manager for EMEA, overseeing site selection and expansion initiatives. Jim's extensive experience also includes a long tenure at Intel Corporation, where roles spanned from Real Estate Manager to Strategic Alliance Manager, emphasizing site selection, investment analysis, and facilities management. Jim holds an M.Sc. in Investment & Treasury and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Dublin City University.
