Marek Kubik

Marek Kubik currently serves as the Director of Energy Storage and Director of BESS at NEOM, where responsibilities include emerging storage technologies and overseeing battery energy storage systems within the context of a $500+ billion sustainable infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Marek holds a position as a Board Advisor at Reichmuth & Co Infrastructure and as an Advisor for the United Nations' Group of Experts on Cleaner Electricity Systems. Previous roles include Managing Director and Market Director at Fluence, a leading energy storage technology firm, and contributing expertise to publications such as Forbes, alongside academic involvement as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Reading. Marek's educational background includes an Executive Education program at Stanford University, a Doctor of Engineering from the University of Reading, a Master of Engineering from Durham University, and studies at the University of Cambridge.
