Melissa Blake

Melissa Blake is an accomplished maritime and terminal operations executive with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Port Director at NEOM since June 2020, Melissa previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at APM Terminals from 2013 to 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing container terminal services and leading the development of Latin America’s first semi-automated terminal. Other significant roles held include Chief Operations Officer at Aqaba Container Terminal, where strategic development encompassed multiple terminal functions and business improvements. Melissa's career also includes leadership positions at APM Terminals and Maersk Line, emphasizing operational excellence, project implementation, and commercial strategy. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in International Management and Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, along with a degree in European Management from KEDGE Business School.
